Psychotherapy sessions with me are 55-60 minutes long, which is 10-15 minutes longer than the length of most standard psychotherapy sessions.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">Insurance<\/span><\/b><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"> My practice is self-pay, which means that I am an out-of-network provider, and that I do not accept insurance for payment of psychotherapy services. This policy means that you and I (rather than the insurance company) get to determine the course of treatment that will be most beneficial for you, and that I am better able to protect your privacy, as insurance companies often demand detailed information about patient history, symptoms, and progress in treatment.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">If you do decide that you would like to use your mental health insurance benefits, I can provide you with the necessary documentation that you will need to submit a claim to your insurance company for reimbursement of my services as an out-of-network provider. If this option is of interest, please check with your insurance company to verify the details for out-of-network services reimbursement. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">Payment<\/span><\/b><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"> I accept payment in the form of cash, check, and credit card. Payment is due at the end of each session.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">Cancellation Policy<\/span><\/b><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"> If you need to cancel your appointment for any reason, please let me know as soon as possible, and at least 24 hours before the date of your appointment. If you fail to arrive for your scheduled appointment, or cancel with less than 24 hours notice, you will be charged the full session fee.
